ABOUT NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY 2016

The National Defence Academy is a MILITARY ACADEMY. The NATIONAL DEFENSE ACADEMY is established on, 7th December,1954. The NDA academy is currently located in PUNE, MAHARASHTRA. The campus of NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY is spread over 7,015 acres in PUNE, MAHARASHTRA. The NATIONAL DEFENSE ACADEMY include Three sector's which is Army, Navy and Air Force. NATIONAL DEFENSE ACADEMY is the world's first tri-service academy. It include 9 receipts and 3 alumni. NATIONAL DEFENSE ACADEMY provides the 27 service chiefs in a year ended.

ADMISSION PROCESS OF THE NATIONAL DEFENSE ACADEMY 2016

The NATIONAL DEFENSE ACADEMY Entrance Exams are conducted by the UPSC. The NDA Examination are conducted twice in year. Selections are by the method of written examinations and personal interviews. In Examination generally they asks for the following test:

• General Aptitude
• Team Skills
• Social Skills
• Psychological Testing
• Physical Skills along with Medical Tests.

ADMISSION PROCESS FOR THE NDA

NDA has total 375 posts.  There are various admission process done by the NDA which are following:

 COURSES PROVIDED BY THE NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY 

UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAMME:

In undergraduate programme TWO streams included which is science and arts. The eligible students have to complete the B.Sc.  and B.A. In B.Sc. subjects includes the Chemistry, Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics. B.A programme includes subjects like Economics, Political Science, History, Geography and Language.

FOUNDATION COURSE

• GENERAL STUDIES :

General Studies includes the many subjects like, Geopolitics, Law in criminals, Environmental Science and Human rights.

• MILLITRY STUDIES :

Military Studies includes the various subjects like, Geography, Weapons System, Armaments and History

COMPULSORY COURSE

In compulsory course following subjects are included which is compulsory. , computer Science , English, Foreign language, Physics, Chemistry,  Political Science, Geography, Economics , History and Mathematics

OPTIONAL STUDIES :

Optional Studies has various elements. In optional Studies first four semester is on compulsory and foundation course. In fifth and sixth semester is on optional course.

 THE NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY PROVIDES THE TRAINING

 ARMY TRAINING

Training to the army is on two bases which is Indoor and Outdoor. The indoor training includes the training like tactical training map reading radio telephony, field telephony, quick weapon arrange. Outdoor training includes the map reading in day  & night , patrolling, Night firing Skills, development of leadership quality, tent pitching, fitting of web equipment, quick attack at night.

AIR FORCE TRAINING

Training to the air force is provided on a two bases which is Ground and Flying. The ground training includes the aircraft models, instruments uses, radio telephony simulator, training aid, flight simulators and training aid. The flying training includes automatic weather station, a paved runway for six aircraft and air traffic control station.

NAVY TRAINING

Training to the navy is provided on the two bases which is theoretical and practical. In theoretical training the peacock bay includes teaching methodology scaled down models 3D models and CBT & CAI packages. In classroom training NTT is provided. In the practical training watermanship training is provided at a peacock bay.

ELIGIBILITY AND PHYSICAL CRITERIA

CRITERIA FOR PHYSICAL ABILITY

• The Applicant should be physically fit and well.
• It the Applicant is widrown or resigned for the any indiciplinary action from any army training institute.

CRITERIA FOR ELIGIBILITY FOR THE NDA ENTRANCE EXAM (II)2016

• The Applicant marital status should be unmarried if he is married he is not able for the registration for the NDA ENTRANCE EXAM (II) 2016
• The age ability is given on the official website.
• The Applicant qualification for the exam is usually 12th from any recognized authority and for the navy & air force cadet the 10+2 from the physics and mathematics.
• The Applicant training will be strat from the JANUARY & JULY.
• The duration for the training will be 3 years at NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY , 1 year training to the army cadets and 1 year training at NAVAL ACADEMY ( for naval academy cadets)

IMPORTANT SCHEDULE AND DATES FOR NDA ENTRENCE EXAM 2016

• Online registration start date : 18th June, 2016 till 23:59
• Payment for the online registration till 15June, 2016.
• Payment for the offline registration till 14 June, 2016.
• Date of ENTRANCE EXAM (II) 2016 15 July, 2016.

 NOTE : THE APPLICANT HAS A CHOICE TO WRIGHT IN ENGLISH AS WELL AS HINDI. THE DECLARATION OF RESULTS WILL BE ON NOVEMBER, 2016.

HOW TO APPLY FOR THE NDA EXAMINATION

• First Applicant has to visit the official site that is http://www.nda.nic.in
• Then have to click on the registration form of the NDA ENTRANCE EXAM (II) 2016
• Read the all details carefully before submission of the form.
• Don’t forget to take the print after submission of the form
• The applicant have the choice to make the payment online and offline.

PATTERN OF MARKS AND EXAMS PAPER

• The pattern of examination will have two subjects which is mathematics and general ability. Mathematics will be the 300 marks paper. The cadet have the 2 ½ hour timing for the answering the paper. And general ability will be the 600 marks paper. For that cadet have the 2 ½ timing for the solving of examination.

• Cadet will get the negative marking for the blank answers.
• Cadets don’t have the permission to use the calculating tools like, mobile, calculator etc.

SELECTION PROCEDURE

• The cadet has the many tests which general apptitute, physical test, medical test, team building test, social skill, phsychological
• After passing this test cadet will have a personal interview with the superiors.
• For the air force cadet they have to passed just once test, afterwords he has to pass the personal interview base on that he will get selected for the training.
