Hi, I was advised by a psychiatrist to take an IQ test, do you take IQ Test?
IQ is usually to test the intelligence level of an individual. Career counselors don't take an IQ test, but take an aptitude test which is used to test the occupational/career relevancy of students. Although academic marks serve as a proxy to test your IQ.
The following two IQ test types are commonly used worldwide:
The Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale (WAIS);
Raven's Progressive Matrices
Note : Malin's intelligence scale for Indian children is the Indian adaptation for testing IQ.
