My daughter has been preparing for NEET since 10th, and now in 12th she has completely changed her mind not to pursue medical anymore. I think post pandemic stress and study from home has changed her mind.
We have been getting quite a few calls post pandemic, where students planning for engineering, medical, etc have changed their mind, which could be possible because of the loss in studies, but there were cases like this even before the pandemic, which could be other reasons as well. Student after 10th usually explore new surroundings and people, exploring their personality and new careers which might interest them. This is a natural thing which they will explore in the future as well, so better now than later. It's better to choose a career of your interest after 10th-12th than after age 25. This is a very common example of engineering students entering into management, where they realise their personality is not a match for desk jobs like programming, etc
